Gregary D. Marhefka, MD, FACP, FACC, is a cardiologist and associate professor of medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College), and completed his residency at the National Naval Medical Center, in Bethesda, MD. He served 7 years as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy, including sea duty in the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf, and combat duty with the U.S. Marines in Camp Fallujah, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He is now Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
