Chris Thorpe, OTR/L

Chris graduated with a bachelor of science in occupational therapy in 2004 from Boston University. Since becoming an OT, Chris has worked with a variety of patient populations in hospital, rehabilitation, complex care, home health and outpatient settings. Her areas of specialty include management of hemiplegia/hemiparesis post-stroke/brain injury, splinting, adaptations for and management of visual impairments post-stroke/brain injury, and activity modification/adaptation to increase independence in activities of daily living. Chris uses a holistic approach to her therapy and addresses all areas of her patients’ lives to optimize their recovery. She is LSVT Big certified and has been working with patients with Parkinson’s disease using this program since 2016.
