Jayne Davey has over 30 years’ experience in nursing in a myriad of acute and ambulatory settings in various states, including Indiana, Florida, and Tennessee and currently in Richmond, Virginia. Her practice settings included med-surgical, respiratory, neurosurgical, and nephrology serving adult and pediatric patient population groups. Currently, she is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist in the Department of Education and Professional Development at VCU Health. Her responsibilities include leadership development, with oversight of the nursing clinical ladder program and other accountabilities in shared governance committees & councils at the organization. Jayne holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership and Management from Walden University. She received her Bachelors of Science of Nursing (BSN) from Florida State University and Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) from Anderson University. Jayne recently celebrated her silver anniversary in nephrology certification of 25 years and is certified in nursing professional development. She is a member of the Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) and serves as past-president for the Central Virginia Association of Nursing Professional Development (CVANPD).
