Stephanie Crewe, MD, MHS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and serves as the Division Chief of Adolescent Medicine. Her clinical expertise focuses on Adolescent Health and Development, Adolescent Reproductive Health, The Care of LGBTQ youth, and Adolescent Obesity. She serves as faculty preceptor to medical students, residents in Pediatrics, combine Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, as well as Child/Adolescent Psychiatric fellows. She has given numerous local, regional, and national presentations related to adolescent substance abuse, adolescent obesity, sexually transmitted infections, communicating effectively with adolescents, as well as caring for sexual and gender-minority youth. Dr. Crewe’s professional interests include adolescent reproductive health, LGBTQ youth, health behavior change, and racial/ethnic health disparities. Using a combination of clinical experiences and public health training, Dr. Crewe has developed a unique window through which to view Adolescent Health, particularly among urban youth. She strives to enhance the provision of confidential health services to adolescents, promote adolescent health as a crucial public health priority, and further elucidate the dynamics between adolescent risk behaviors and adverse health outcomes.
