Sheryll Anne S. LeCompte, BSN, RN, CCRN
Disclosures: Nothing to disclose

Sheryll and her family are stationed in Fort Lee, VA where her husband is currently serving as a Drill Sergeant. As a military spouse, Sheryll had the opportunity to travel in different states. Moving from one station to another can be detrimental to one’s career but instead of it hindering her career growth, she took these opportunities and used them to her advantage. She worked in different facilities such as Level 1 Trauma Hospitals, Comprehensive Stroke Centers and Magnet Hospitals. Sheryll has been a critical care registered nurse for almost 12 years. She holds a bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Business Management. Prior to working at Hunter Holmes VA McGuire Medical Center in Richmond, VA, she worked as a nurse at The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, HI where she enjoyed her role in the Neuro Science Institute ICU.

Sheryll is passionate about providing excellent patient care to our veterans through evidence-based research projects. In her current role, she helped lead the launch of the National Tele Stroke Program for Hunter Holmes VA McGuire Medical Center in February 2020.
