Greg Neiman is the EMS Community Liaison for VCU Health. He joined the VCU Team in 2017 after 11 years with the Virginia Office of EMS as the BLS Training Specialist.

He has a wealth of EMS knowledge and experience as both a provider and EMS Educator. He is a Life Member of Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad, and worked as a Paramedic with the Richmond Ambulance Authority and was promoted to Captain of QI and Clinical Education. He was the first EMS Program Coordinator for J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and keeps his skills up as a Paramedic and Supervisor at King’s Dominion First Aid and the occasional Roller Derby stand-by.

Greg has a Master’s Degree in EMS Leadership from the George Washington University, is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, a Virginia Education Coordinator and a Nationally Certified EMS Educator (NCEE). He teaches part-time for the Center for Trauma and Critical Care Education as a Course Director/Instructor for ACLS, PHTLS and CPR and an Instructor in EPC and AMLS.

Greg is married to Krista Neiman, BSN, RN who works in the Pediatric ED at VCU Medical Center and they have two daughters, Paige and Ainsley. They share their house with two cats.
