Sandy Mullen, PharmD, BCPP


Sandy Mullen, PharmD, BCPP is a clinical pharmacy specialist in psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC). She is a graduate of Wilkes University Nesbitt College of Pharmacy and Nursing in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.  Dr. Mullen completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, VA and a PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCUHS).  She manages the Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) medication management clinic at VTCCShe is an assistant clinical professor for the VCU School of Pharmacy and the School of Medicine, department of psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of VirginiaShe is the PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency Program Director and serves as one of the advisors for the pharmacy residency wellness program.  She is member of several committees for the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists and has authored the Neurodevelopmental, Disruptive Disorders, Impulse-Control and Conduct Disorders chapter in the Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Book since 2014.
