Nikki Miller Ferguson, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Medicine at VCU. She is a practicing pediatric intensivist with specialized training in neurocritical care. She earned her medical degree at University of Toledo School of Medicine. Dr. Miller Ferguson completed a pediatric residency at University of Virginia and fellowship in pediatric critical care at University of Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital. She joined Children’s Hospital of Richmond in 2014. She currently serves as Medical Director of Pediatric Transport with VCU Life Evac team and is co-Director of the CHF Pediatric Brain Injury Program. Dr. Miller Ferguson has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on pediatric traumatic brain injury and continues both clinical and basic science/translational research in pediatric traumatic brain injury.
