Jessi Lowman has been an occupational therapist since 2019 and sees patients with a variety of neurologic and complex medical diagnoses at Sheltering Arms Institute, a 114-bed freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital. As the Neuro Unit OT Clinical Leader, she is responsible for the Neuro OT program, supporting other OTs on the floor, translating knowledge on best practice, and supporting program development. She also served as interim Upper Extremity Recovery Specialist working with patients with upper extremity impairments all over the rehab hospital, not just the Neuro unit. Jessi hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Health and Performance and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University.
