Elizabeth “Liz” Triesler, PT, CIMI, SCCE



Liz is a Pediatric Physical Therapist, Certified Infant Massage Instructor, and the Site Coordinator of Clinical Education for Physical Therapists at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR).  Liz began her career as a PT in acute care in northern Virginia.  She transitioned to pediatrics and has been at CHoR for 33 years, working with inpatients in rehab and orthopedics, outpatients, long term care, and Early Intervention.  She received her certification in Infant Massage from the Loving Touch Foundation in 2003 and is a certified Early Intervention Practitioner.  She helped to establish the Infant Massage group class through VCU Moms and has been teaching the class for 8 years.  She also established a therapeutic massage program 6 years ago for clients with special needs.  These sessions are provided on an individual basis in order to optimize the instruction.  Both programs focus on teaching care givers to massage their children at home for optimal benefits.
