Jill Gaidos, MD, FACG
 

Dr. Jill Gaidos completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Her fellowship training was at the University of Florida, Gainesville where her interests were in inflammatory bowel diseases and small bowel endoscopy. After fellowship, she joined the GI faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University where she provided care in the VCU Center for Digestive Health for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and general GI complaints. Five years ago, she transferred her clinical practice to the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA to become the Director of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the Director of the Gastroenterology Clinics. She is currently the PI for the IBD clinical trials as well as several clinical investigator-initiated research studies. She is also involved in the training of GI fellows as the Associate Program Director/VA Site Director for our GI Fellowship training program and continues to provide inpatient and outpatient care including endoscopic procedures. She also serves as the Deputy Chief for the GI Division at McGuire VA Medical Center. She is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
