Bio:

Tiffany Kimbrough is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. She is the current Medical Director of the Newborn Nursery at VCUMC with an annual birth rate between 2400-2800. In addition, she worked in the pediatric residency continuity clinic overseeing learners, in addition to caring for her own patient panel at the faculty practice.

Tiffany is a native of Washington County, MD. She received her undergraduate degree in 2007 from Dickinson College in Neuroscience. She attended University of Maryland School of Medicine and received her MD in 2011. Tiffany completed her pediatric residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 and is board certified in pediatrics. She then joined faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 and has since been working in the Division of General Pediatrics.

Tiffany conducts performance improvement work around care delivery in the newborn nursery and primary care clinics. In addition, she is participating in a statewide safe sleep initiative partnering with Virginia Department of Health.
