Christine Gilmore Eubanks, Ph.D. 

Director of Audiology, and Co-director of the Cochlear Implant program, VCU Health

Dr. Eubanks is the Audiology Faculty Member for the Virginia LEND program.  She was co-chair of the Virginia Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EDHI) program’s Advisory Committee from 2016-2018, and has been a committee member since 2009. She is an author of over 15 publications, and was Editor of the Journal of Educational Audiology from 1999-2001. She is the co-creator of the Profiles of Hearing Aid Performance and Benefit, and the Connected Speech Test.  The articles on the development of the CST won the Editor's award from the American Auditory Society. She is also the mother of a college student, and thus has a keen interest in classroom acoustics and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.  She received her Ph.D. from The University of Memphis, M.S. from Columbia University, and her B.S. from Boston University.  She is licensed to practice Audiology and dispense hearing aids in Virginia.
