Faculty Bio for Rao R. Ivatury Trauma Symposium – March 22nd, 2019.

Caitlin Wise is the current nurse clinician in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. She works to orient and educate the staff on the unit to the complex patient population that they serve, and she is always looking to make the “STICU” a better place to work and a safer place to be a patient. Prior to this role, she worked as a bedside nurse for six years in STICU. She has her BSN from the University of Tennessee and Masters in Public Health from VCU, and she is a lifelong learner in her relentlessly nerdy pursuit of knowledge. She lives in church hill with her husband and puppy and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first son next month.
