Bio – Malliga Ravindar

Malliga Ravindar is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist serving the Central Virginia VA Health Care System, Richmond, Virginia. Malliga brings a wealth of knowledge and experience along with her never- ending passion for nursing, from her extensive (more than 37 years) nursing experience in academia, nursing professional development, leadership, and management.

Malliga received her BSN and MSN from the reputed College of Nursing, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, India, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. She is the current President of the Central Virginia Association for Nursing Professional Development.
