Joann Plencner earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Jacksonville University in 2007 and her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2010. She has been a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse since 2010 and currently manages a full-time outpatient ostomy clinic at VCU.  Joann’s 16 years of nursing experience include inpatient, home health, and clinic settings. She is passionate about educating and supporting ostomates, whether temporary or permanent, in living their best lives without limitation.
