About the Workshop
As pediatric nurses, we work with many patients, some of whom will die, despite improving cure rates. This two-day ELNEC-PPC course will provide nurses and other healthcare professionals, in any area of practice, with the essential education in palliative care to effectively care for children and their families at the end of life. Note: This is not a train-the-trainer course.

The registration fee includes program handouts, continuing education credit, continental breakfast, break refreshments, and luncheon. Minimum and maximum numbers for attendance at this event have been established, and we reserve the right to substitute speakers/topics, or cancel if necessary. The workshop will be held at the MCV Alumni House, located at 11th & Clay Streets on the MCV campus of VCU in Richmond, VA.  Directions to the Alumni House are here

Parking is available at the 8th Street Parking Deck; information here.  This deck is about two blocks walk from the Alumni House.  There is very limited two-hour street parking.  Other public parking lots are also available such as the Richmond Coliseum Deck on 7th Street.
