Overview
The HPV Leadership Summit: Providers Partnering for Prevention builds capacity and knowledge for preventative care for HPV cancers among Dental and Medical Communities. Providers will learn about oral pathology and HPV; then a HPV cancer survivor story; three providers perspectives about HPV and cancer (pediatrician, dentist, and gynecological oncologist perspective) with a panel discussion, presentation and modeling how to make HPV recommendation; benefits and challenges of integrated dental and medical care; prudent opioid prescription practices and (for physicians) how to recognize if your patient might have a substance abuse issue.

Objectives
  1. Providers will be able to identify the appropriate HPV vaccine schedule for adolescents 11 to 13 year olds.
  2. Providers will be able to determine a strong HPV recommendation for 11 to 13 year old adolescents.
  3. Develop healthcare provider and staff self-efficacy in delivering effective HPV vaccine recommendations.
