Join us in Virginia Beach for the 4th Annual Cardiology in Primary Care activity, jointly provided by Bayview Physicians Group, Cardiovascular Associates, and VCU Health Continuing Medical Education. This two day activity will provide primary care physicians, including internal medicine and family medicine; cardiologists; residents; advanced practice clinicians; nurses; and other allied health professionals the information they need to advance their knowledge of current cardiovascular topics. 

  1. Recognize and discuss current guidelines in the diagnosis of hypertension and hyperlipidemia and identify new lipid agents and their potential impact on risk factors.
  2. Explain evaluation and management guidelines for valvular disease and identify contemporary treatments.
  3. Describe evaluation and management of arrhythmias; describe non-invasive and invasive treatment options.
  4. Describe evaluation of chest pain, modalities for diagnosis, and treatment of coronary artery disease.
  5. Recognize current upcoming advances in pacemaker and defibrillator technology.
  6. Summarize pathophysiology of peripheral arterial and venous disease, diagnosis and treatment options.
  7. Discuss identification, evaluation and management of obstructive sleep apnea.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing prior to October 20, 2017 in order to receive a refund. A $60 administrative fee will be charged after this date and deducted from your refund.
