2021 Pathways to Knowledge: Nurse Educator Conference

 This year's annual conference is for nursing professional development practitioners and other health care educators at all levels and practice settings, offering quality programming and networking opportunities with other practitioners.

1. Develop strategies that are essential for successful nursing professional development (NPD) practice in the multisite setting.
2. Consider what infrastructures are necessary to support, extend, and strengthen NPD practice and impact, particularly in the multisite environment.
3. Make use of the Single Preceptor Model, Married State Preceptor Model, and the Team Preceptor Model.
4. Begin using simulation/computer-based case studies as a strategy for developing the competencies of preceptors.
5. Implement preceptor documentation tools based on best practices.

VCU Health Continuing Education designates this activity for a maximum of 4.75 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Certificates of participation are provided to attendees not eligible for ANCC credits.
