Overview

We have been closely monitoring the development of COVID-19 in our community and throughout the United States. In order to safeguard the health and well-being of our learners, faculty, staff and communities, we have made the decision to change the Health of Women 2020 Conference into an online six-part series on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., kicking off on Friday, June 26, 2020. No in-person sessions will be held that day. We are making this change to give you the pertinent information you need now in a format that adheres to current US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Virginia Department of Health (VDH) guidelines on social interaction.

The Health of Women 2020 is designed with you in mind. We will follow our valued approach of addressing women's health across the life span and will address the challenges and nuances of sex and gender medicine. We have put it all together for you in an online six-part series, filled with engaging lectures and discussions. We’ve carefully crafted an agenda catering to the learning needs of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals focused on women’s health in family practice, internal medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology.
